Our Spanish school trip to Conil de la Frontera — 2023

In October 2023 @Speaktheworld Language School we took over 40 students, from young children to adults, to take part in a school trip to Conil de la Frontera to visit our Spanish School partner 'Academia Andaluza'. We had a wonderful time together in Andalucía, Spain.

Our students attended an intensive course of the Spanish language and, although some were initially slightly apprehensive, everyone was able to enjoy every moment of it and became more confident in interacting in Spanish, not only at school, but also out and about all the towns we visited.

Our week has been rich in visiting unforgettable places such as the wonderful ancient city of Cádiz with its millenary history and breathtaking cathedrals. We also visited the legendary town of Vejer de la Frontera, where local artists were singing to us about the magic of this unique town.

Conil de la Frontera has been a very welcoming town and we managed to explore several tapas bars and restaurants and the wonderful beaches where our children played and managed to swim in the ocean.

Finally, for our last evening in Conil, we had dinner at 'La Peña Flamenca' and we were delighted to be able to view an authentic Flamenco Show by local artists.
